Hide and Play

Turn taking, shared play and early social confidence for pre-schoolers.

This group program supports children in developing their participation, communication, and social engagement within a play-based, neuroaffirming environment. Children will be supported to transition between activities and engage in group routines, providing opportunities to focus on turn taking, sharing, and developing collaborative play skills. Children will also work to build confidence in communication through identifying emotions, initiating and negotiating play, expressing ideas, and advocating for themselves.

School readiness intensive

AGES 4–6

Hide and Prep Intensive

The school readiness program, run as a holiday intensive.

Our popular school readiness group, Hide and Prep, also runs as an intensive in the holidays. Designed and delivered by our experienced speech pathologists and occupational therapists, this small-group program supports children who are starting Prep in 2027.

The program focuses on developing fine motor and pre-literacy skills, supporting attention and engagement in structured and play-based tasks, collaborating in pairs and small groups, practising how to follow instructions, learning to ask for help, encouraging sharing and turn-taking with peers, supporting emotional regulation to manage big feelings, and developing sensory regulation strategies to adapt to different environments.

Places are limited and tend to fill quickly. Please contact us to register your interest.

Chat and Play

For children who use, or are learning to use, AAC.

This school holiday program is designed for children who use or are learning to use AAC. Chat and Play provides a safe, inclusive environment for children to explore social interactions through fun, functional, and engaging activities.

Each session supports children to practise their AAC skills in real-life play and social contexts, develop their planning, organisation and problem-solving skills, and work collaboratively with peers using supported communication.

Tailored for late primary and secondary school students, our Hide and Flex program places a spotlight on social skills, communication confidence, emotional expression and self-regulation. Participants will learn how to navigate interpersonal relationships, fostering a strong foundation for positive social interactions.

Hide and Thrive

Play, connection and co-regulation for toddlers and their parents, together.

Designed to cultivate social communication, play, and regulation skills for children and parents, within a neuroaffirming, play-based environment. Children will work to develop joint attention, imitation, and early language skills through shared and pretend play experiences to support connection and emerging regulation.

Parents will be actively supported to build confidence in co-regulation, understand and respond to sensory needs, and practise language modelling and play strategies within a group setting alongside other families. The program supports children to build meaningful relationships and participate positively in group interactions, recognising and valuing diverse ways of thinking, communicating, and engaging.

Concepts such as 'meeting in the middle' and 'resilient winning and losing' will empower children to navigate social challenges with flexibility.
